Xobni 1.8 keeps showing welcome screen
Since updating to 1.8, it keeps showing the 'You are now using Xobni 1.8' welcome screen, and makes me go through 2-3 screens to start it.

Inappropriate?Are you able to see your mails okay in Xobni now? I don't know if this will help but just in case, you might want to check the Xobni > Options > Folders tab to make sure the desired pst files and folders are checked and then run Xobni > Index Outlook Mail. Again, I don't know that this will help but that's something that is good to do once anyway.
If this doesn't work, you can try this:
1) Download the Brute Force Uninstaller from here:
http://download.xobni.com/uninstaller...
2) Restart your computer.
3) After it comes back up (and before you launch any programs), run the brute force uninstaller. After doing this, download and run the latest version of the Xobni installer from here: http://www.xobni.com/download
If you made changes in Xobni like merging profiles, these will probably be lost but none of your Outlook data will be lost and Xobni’s index with all your mail data will be rebuilt in the next step.
4) Xobni should come up and start indexing automatically. After the initial "quick index" confirm your PST and folder settings under Xobni > Options > Folders.
5) Run Xobni > Index Outlook Mail
If you continue to have issues, please run the Inspector X application and open a support ticket. Here are the steps for doing that:
1) Close Outlook and run the Inspector X application by going to Start menu > All Programs > Xobni > Diagnostics > InspectorX.
2) After data is displayed, use the “save as zip file” option, and save the file to your desktop,
3) File a support ticket with this log attached (http://www.xobni.com/support/ and click "contact support). Please put in the Subject line: "Get Satisfaction: Xobni 1.8 keeps showing welcome screen" and include a link to this forum post. It might also help to include some screenshots of what you see and have to do if possible when you open a ticket.

Inappropriate?After upgrading to two seats of Xobni Plus, it continues to pitch an upgrade to Xobni Plus in the opening panel. I have to click to click past two interfering advertising screens to get to the application I licensed.

Thanks. I am am a Happy Camper now. I thought Ver. 1.8 was the free version. I did not respond to the invitations to download the latest version of 1.8 because I feared it would over write my Plus version. :-)) -
