Thank you all for helping us understand the need for XING integration with Xobni. Now with Xobni 1.9.3 this is available, along with a German version of Xobni for Outlook!
More details available on our blog, or just head straight to the download.
Also, if you are reading German magazines or blogs over the next few weeks, keep a look out for reviews. The first review is out already from Stern.de; check it out!
Note: If you are using the English version of Xobni, you must "enable" XING by going to the Xobni Options > Integration > Extensions > Customize window. Or you can get to that window more quickly by clicking the little down arrow that appears to the right of the Twitter tab.
Thank you!
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Besides LinkedIn, Facebook and twitter - could you build an interface for www.xing.com, too?

Inappropriate?Hi there,
I really like XOBNI - it makes email-live much easier. If you would add access to XING profiles as well as to facebook profiles this would be very helpful at least in all German language countries since XING is the social business network no. 1 there.

Inappropriate?Hey guys,
linkedin is great, but still very US centric. Xing is somewhat European, but growing into other regions as well. I would very much appreciate if you could add a xing.com integration.
Thank you

Inappropriate? It would be of great value for me if you would implement a xing.com extention. Xing.com is complementaire to linkedin. I have lots of contacts who only use xing instead of linkedin. Thnaks in advance, Sebastian Goldstein

Inappropriate?Hi Everyone,
Thank you for your feedback about Xing. As an informal survey, can each of you tell me which country you are from, and which language you use to browse the Xing website?
Thanks! -
Inappropriate?I'm in Switzerland I use German to browse Xing.

Inappropriate?Hi Josh!
I was born in the UK, live in China and have a lot of contacts in Germany and central Europe and in the global European business community, like German multinationals or Chinese firms exporting to Europe. As far as I know, this is a huge untapped market for Xobni.
I use Xing in English and German although I do subscribe to a few groups in Chinese.
Does this help with your decision to invest a few resources to develop the Xing extension? -
Inappropriate?Im from Germany and browse xing in German. But to me, the language makes no difference..
I’m excited

Inappropriate?Hello,
Thank you all for answering my question. I really appreciate it as we look to see what languages and features we need for a first version of a Xing extension. -
Inappropriate?Dear Josh, I couldn't agree more. XING is a very popular social web platform in Europe (maybe even more popular than LinkedIn). So it would be for me to have my two most frequented social media platform available from one spot.
I would really appreciate if you extend your great tool to XING
I’m excited
