Works with Outlook 2010 perfectly !
This is awesome and works great with Outlook 2010 ( technical preview) , despite it saying it was not compatable.
Well done keep up the good work.

Inappropriate?Hi Graham,
Thanks for the praise! I'm glad it's working for you on Outlook 2010. Some others have reported display issues (our sidebar does not render in the right place) with 2010. If you get a chance, I would love to see any screenshots you might have of how Xobni is working for you. (You can blur or block your data of course!).
Thanks!
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Hi - Which version of Xobni did u use with Outlook 2010. 1.8 or a beta / alpha version ?. If the latter where can I download this from ?
Ravi
I’m happy

Ravi -- FYI, we have not released a version (even in alpha) that has Outlook 2010-specific fixes yet. Maybe Graham just got lucky? :) Graham -- help us out if you can. Thanks! -
Works fine.... I have been using office TP on main machine, beta on another, Xobni ver 1.8.3
On the beta one not so stable. On TP (office) works well . Im sure it will be even better when specific hooks are done, but its v good now.
I have ot tried as per David below a nreew build ( ie I have upgraded office from office 2007) -
Inappropriate?Did you have it installed in 2007 and upgraded. I had 1 PC, that I did that, and it worked. Unfortunitally, I flattened it and reinstalled the OS with Win7 and Off 14 and then it didnt.
-
Yep windows 7 with office ipgraded from 2007 to 14. I have same computers, basically the same on both ... -
Inappropriate?hi
xobni does not work for me. i upgraded O2010Beta2 from 2007 and the sidbar doesnt appear. under the tab addins is xobni installed. i tried the bruteforce method and it doesnt work either :(
maybe in a later version... -
Inappropriate?Sounds like a x32 bit version of 2010 which works. If you have a x64 bit install (and you would know this if you tried to upgrade from 2007 to 2010 x64 as the installer will not work) Xobni doesn't work nor is not seen as an add-on.

Inappropriate?I have Xobni 1.8.3 (build 9135) and Outlook 2010 beta (version 14.0.4536.1000 32-bit), both clean installed on a new Asus netbook with XP. So far I have noticed no significant issues. The Xobni sidebar does display inconsistently. Sometimes it does and sometimes it does not obscure Outlook's vertical scroll bar. But I can scroll with the trackpad. The sidebar generally disappears completely if I go to Outlook's backstage view and then return to the home view. But the sidebar comes back if I first uncheck then recheck "View Xobni sidebar" on the Add-Ins tab. Sign me up for alpha testing. David

Inappropriate?Got the same problem as orgazmospam:
Xobni 1.8 works fine with Outlook 2010 (Office Pro Plus) v.14.0.4536.1000 (32-bit)
Note: There are no font problems, I just erased the confidential parts.
As you can see, Xobni only displays in the lower, reading area, not up to the navigation area. Any known fixes??
I’m ok

Inappropriate?Unfortunately I have Office 2010 BETA with Business Contact Manager and I cannot adjust the height of the box therefore the results render unreadable results. I really need a fix - I have so many emails and unable to search.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Hi All,
If you're running Outlook 2010 beta (32bit), please try this new version of Xobni and let us know how it works for you. http://box.ly/2i
We are still working on AutoSuggest and other features, but hopefully the Xobni sidebar displays more reliably now.
Thanks! -
Inappropriate? When I install on win7 64 w/ Office 2010 64, the install seems to work fine, but I do not see the addon on the right side. Has anybody been able to resolve this?
Thanks,
Scott -
Inappropriate?Hi all,
To quote Josh, I want to thank you for your feedback and patience. Microsoft says that there have been 5.5 million downloads of the Office 2010 beta, and it seems most of those people want Xobni! ;)
Today I'm happy to announce that Xobni 1.9.2 is available. Details: http://www.xobni.com/blog/2010/04/15/...
From here on, it's probably best to report any new issues in new topics so we can address them individually.
Thanks again. This was by far the #1-trafficked post for weeks!
The Xobni Team
I’m thankful
