Track a person not an e-mail address
one of the problems I some times face is when a user replaces its e-mail address. This might happen if a person switches e-mails or when a company changes its domain or sub domain (and all e-mail of my contact persons change). It would be great if I could "connect" several e-mail addresses that belong to one person so Xobni would treat them as one instead of two separate ones. This means that we would be actually tracking the history of a person rather than tracking a single e-mail address.

Inappropriate?Thanks for posting this. Actually, if I understand you correctly, you can do this now. Just click the "edit profile" button on the Xobni sidebar for a person and add additional email addresses as needed. This will merge data for the different email addresses into one person in Xobni.

This is great and works great (just tried it). I never actualy understood what was the aim of the profile, but now I see it.
What happens to the profile if I replaces my computer or change profiles ? do i need to re update them from scratch ? -
If you change computers or mail profiles, you would need to "re-merge" email addresses in Xobni.
