Outlook 2010 Beta 2 and Xobni not working
I installed the latest Office 2010 Beta and tried to install Xobni. The installation goes through but no add in is showing in Outlook.
In the technical preview it worked, but in the Beta 2 it stopped working there. I assume Outlook is changing the way addins are integrated.
I know you are still not supporting the beta outlook, but I though i will just report this.

Inappropriate?Thanks for your report. Indeed, Outlook 2010 isn't supported yet but we plan to support it once Outlook 2010 is released to the public.
For your current issue, you could try this but it may or may not work:
1. Start->type "cmd"->Right click on "Command Prompt" and go to "Run as Administrator"
2. Enter "regsvr32.exe c:\progra~1\Xobni\XobniRdo.dll" -> [Enter]
3. Enter "regsvr32.exe c:\progra~1\Xobni\XobniMainConnectorShim.dll" -> [Enter]
If you still don't see Xobni after starting Outlook, you could try this:
Download the Brute Force Uninstaller from here: http://download.xobni.com/uninstaller...
Then, restart your computer. After it comes back up (and before you launch any programs), run the brute force uninstaller. After doing this, download and run the latest version of the Xobni installer from here: http://www.xobni.com/download/latest
I’m sure Xobni will work with Outlook 2010 when released

Thank you for your help, but I have tried your solution mentioned above and it did not work at all.
Is there any other work around possible? -
Inappropriate?I forgot to mention that I am using Win 7 x64. does that make any difference?
