Linkedin won't log in
Downloaded Xobni October 10, mailbox is fully indexed. When searching a contact for LinkedIn, I get the "loading" circle animation and it just goes on forever. I see no way to know how to give Linkedin my login password.

Apologies all; we were tinkering with this over the weekend and caused a problem for LinkedIn sign-in. It should be fixed now. Please click on an email from someone (so that the Xobni sidebar refreshes) and try to sign in to LinkedIn.
Let me know how it goes please.
Thank you!

Inappropriate?I believe there might be some temporary problems with the LinkedIn extension at the moment. I'm seeing similar problems now. I signed out of LinkedIn (through Xobni). If I click the sign in button, I just get the "loading circle" like you are seeing.
Facebook and Twitter seem to be okay and I can go to http://www.linkedin.com/ okay.
I suspect it’s just a temporary problem that Xobni will be able to correct quickly when back at work tomorrow (if it isn’t running before then). I have an InspectorX log as well if needed.

Inappropriate?I have Xobni on my home computer and it connects to Facebook, but not to LinkedIn. I am on a wireless router through Verizon FIOS. LinkedIn just gives me the loading, loading, loading image and doesn't ever present a login page.

Inappropriate? Thanks Josh!!!! It worked for me. I was able to logon, select the LinkedIn profile for the contact I was viewing, and see their LinkedIn profile.
I’m happy
-
Inappropriate? Thanks Josh. It is now working for me and restores my faith in what many have told me is a cool tool.

Inappropriate?All,
I just downloaded xobni plus for my new work system, and this problem seems to be back. I can log into linkedin.com fine, but the xobni tab will not load it, but just spin the "loading circle" as noted above. I've restarted both outlook and the computer, but doesn't fix it. (twitter and other extensions work fine) -

Inappropriate?I just installed and was learning to use xobni and ran the same problem ... won't load linkedin dll ... facebook works fine. I was able to access the host by pinging linkedin2.client.xobni.com. I will submit my inspectorX text report online. Please advise.

Inappropriate?Scott Reese,
We ran into a network issue with our LinkedIn connection. Should be up now. Can you confirm?
Thanks,
Eirik

Encountered same issue and is now resolved. Thanks Eirik! -
Inappropriate?weird - I had this problem and was about to post a support issue, but about 2 minutes after I followed this thread it resolved itself!
It MUST BE MAGIC!
UPDATE: 6-jan-2010 - the problem is back for me....
I’m confused
-
Inappropriate?I still have this problem and have done for last 2 days as a new user.

Inappropriate?I am having the same problem. I have verified that I can ping linkedin . I simply cannot find how to input the Linkedin log in info and the program cannot seem to find it.
-
Inappropriate?I believe that when we click "Sign in to LinkedIn" it's supposed to load the boxes for log in details, but I just get the spinning loading circle for ages then it goes back to where it started.
-
Inappropriate?I have the same issue, and in the exact same position as HexusOdy. I installed yesterday, and have tried this over and over and it just keeps the spinning icon while it says "Loading...". Shuting Outlook and reopening it has no effect.
-
Inappropriate?Sorry guys, it looks like we're experiencing another connection issue. We are working with our provider to make this more fail safe. I'll provide an update as soon as I hear more.
I apologize for the repeated inconvenience. Thanks for hanging in there!

Inappropriate?Hi all,
It should be back up again. Thanks again for your patience!
Eirik
I’m relieved
-
Inappropriate?I'm afraid not. Still just "Loading"
-
Inappropriate?Urgh... the relief was short-lived... Ok, getting on the horn with our hosting provider! Stay tuned...
-
Inappropriate?I deleted Xobni to start with because I couldn't get to LinkedIn. Now since it was "fixed" I reloaded it and considered Pro, but with these issues I don't think I will.
-
Inappropriate?Nathan,
Sorry to hear that! As mentioned above, rest assured that we are in the process of moving our servers to a more resilient solution. Hopefully you'll give us another chance - if it's still an issue after our servers are back up, it could be related to your proxy/firewall. In that case, please do submit a support case so we can follow up directly.
Thanks!

Inappropriate?I've had this problem at home on Fios and at the office on DSL. It just doesn't seem to work when I have it.
-
Inappropriate?Xobni's LinkedIn integration stopped working for me about a week ago on Outlook 2007/Win7. I get the 'loading' animation endlessly. I upgraded to the latest Xobni Plus, rebooted etc to no avail. Facebook integration works fine.
What am I doing wrong?

Inappropriate?Same problem.
-
Chase,
Are you able to log in using the browser? If yes, can you ping linkedin2.client.xobni.com? If yes, are you behind a proxy or VPN? If yes, does disconnecting from the VPN take care of the issue?
Thanks,
Eirik
