indexing attachments fails

Xobni didn't index mail attachments which are in the second outlook data file (PST). It only shows the attachments from my primary (default) outlook data file. The emails are indexed but the attachment to them not. I'd like to notice that I have Xobni Plus purchased.

Hmm, that's interesting. A few thoughts on this:

    1. Make sure that your Plus account is activated. You should see the Xobni Plus logo in the bottom right hand corner of the Sidebar, if it is. If you don't see that, you can activate by just going to the Xobni menu > Options > Xobni Plus tab, and login using the credentials you used to purchase Plus.

    2. Keep in mind that we don't support indexing for 'embedded' attachments. If you have a bunch of embedded files, then we won't display those.

    3. Also, make sure that you have fully indexed all the folders. Go back into the Options window > Folders tab, and make sure that you have all the folders in both PST's selected for indexing. Then run the 'Index Outlook Mail' command in the Xobni menu. That will completely index all folders selected in the Folders tab.

If you think that all of the above criteria has been met, and the problem continues, you might want to file a ticket with our Support Team. My suggestion would be to reproduce the problem, and then run Inspector X.

If you quit Outlook, and go to the Windows Start Menu > All Programs > Xobni > Diagnostics folder, there’s an application in there called Inspector X. This is a diagnostic tool that will give us some insight into what might be going wrong. Please launch the application from the Start Menu. When the data displays within the Inspector window, please click the “Save as .zip file”, and save the file to your desktop. Please attach it to your support ticket, and we can start figuring out what’s going wrong.

    Thanks!
