"Schedule Time with" not showing correct availability.
The "Schedule time with" link doesn't always show the correct availability. For instance, I have a meeting on my calendar today at 3:30pm and when I click the link it says that I am available from now until 5:00pm. What could cause this?

Inappropriate?I have outlook 2003 and have this same problem. It shows that I'm available from 8:30 - 5pm everyday. It's not excluding my busy time.
The feature used to work. I can't think of anything that would have changed. I have not tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
I’m sad
-
Have you had any update on this? -
Inappropriate?I have the same issue as well with Outlook 2007. Schedule time with shows:
Tue September 01, 7 to 10am, 11:30am to 4pm, 5 to 6pm
but my calendar (not including my shared calendars) shows meetings at:
8-8:30am
9-9:30am
10-11am
11-11:30am
1-1:30pm
4-5pm.
This is yet another feature that worked properly in the 1.7 release and is now broken int he paid release. Fortunately the latest release of 1.8 seems to have slowed down the lockups and hangs.
I’m still dissapointed in the paid version of the product
-
Inappropriate?Same issue in Outlook 2007. Except I get the same as David where I'm available from 8:30-5:00 every day. I have just purchased the most recent paid version and my co-workers are on the free version. Theirs works fine, mine doesn't.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? An additional note that may help. My current experience using version 1.7.3.7053 of Xobni, is that it misses meetings in the same day with the same name. As an example, I use a meeting titled "Blocking to get work done". I then repeat it on some days for one hour blocks that are separated with time I leave available. The first instance on a day is caught. Subsequent ones are ignored.
I’m a little frustrated.

Inappropriate?I have had this problem and just updated to 1.8.3 and it is still there.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I gave up using the product. It was awesome when it was free, but since it became a paid product, it has been unstable, and bug ridden with no real support. It is very sad as it used to be great!
I’m so far beyond frustrated that I give up on this product completely

Hi Michael,
I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience. Rest assured that we do indeed respond to every support ticket that is submitted, as well as try to fix bugs as soon as they arise. Furthermore, the product is still available for free, although you may opt to pay for premium features. Please feel free to submit any technical issues through our support portal.
Thanks,
Eirik -
Inappropriate?I have a simular problem, where Xobni doesn't see my events series, only my scheduled meetings.
-
Inappropriate?I really want this issue fixed. I am using Outlook 2k3 and the latest (premium) version of Xobni.
I’m very upset at the delay in fixing this problem.
-
Inappropriate?Jim/Chris,
This is working for me with Xobni build 9142. Can you do a full index and see if that helps? Xobni > Index Outlook Mail.
If not, please run Inspector X:
http://www.xobni.com/support/?view=141
and file a support case > Contact Support
Make sure to reference this thread.
Thanks!
Eirik
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Maybe I am making this too simple, but I had this problem and spent some time researching last night and today. Mine used to work, and stopped working like the others.
I went to Xobni/ Options/ Folders and realized that my calendar was not checked. Once I checked this, and then re-indexed and the calendar started showing up correctly again when I used the Schedule Time feature.
I hope this helps.
I’m thinking I fixed my problem

this solves the problem

Inappropriate?C'mon guys I've been monitoring this for months now and still no resolution! When is this going to be fixed? I regret paying for the full version.
I’m angry
-
Inappropriate?I agree - this issue is definitely dragging on forever. The feature is buggy, it misses scheduled meetings (particularly almost all recurring meetings) and so cant be trusted to generate a viable availability schedule - which is a pity because it's potentially one of the biggest benefits of the product. So how about getting some focus on it and generating a fix - it cant be that hard to read an Outlook calendar! Im happy to be a guinea pig if you cant reproduce the issue in house, as Im sure many others would be.
I’m feeling like this issue is being ignored
-
Inappropriate?Seriously, check to see that the calendar is being indexed. That fixed the problem for me. Its under Xobni Options on the "folders" tab. click on the account base folder and be sure that Calendar is checked. Seems simple (and it is) but I didn't find it until someone else pointed it out to me.
I’m sad that Xobin hasn't made this issue clearer.
-
If it were that easy it would be fixed. The calendar IS being indexed. -
Inappropriate?All,
Can you confirm whether or not there are attendees associated the missed calendar entries? In other words, are they meetings where you got invited or you invited somebody?
Thanks,
Eirik -
Most of mine are appointments that I made. It wasn't part of your question, but I also have a fair amount of free time in my calendar that isn't being listed as available. -
None of my 'Busy' times meetings are being caught by Xobni. I'm on latest build of 1.9.x running Outlook 2k7. Meetings with attendees, meetings without, series/repeating meetings - all are being missed.
Have done full index.
Have done uninstall/reinstall
Have checked the Calendar folder in the Options > Folders tab. -
Inappropriate?Eirik,
Ive sent through a list below of all the errors it has made with my calendar for the next few days, and generally I would agree that the errrors relate to "meetings" called by someone else for which I am an attendee. I found no example where it messed up a simple "appointment".
Auto-generated Xobni Schedule (generated at 9:03am Thu 18 Feb):
Thu 18 February, now to 3pm, 3:30 to 4pm
Fri 19 February, 10:30 to 12pm, 2 to 5pm
Mon 22 February, 9 to 10am, 10:30am to 1:30pm, 2:30 to 5pm
Wed 24 February, 9 to 11am, 12 to 5pm
Here is what it messed up in this schedule:
On Thu 9 to 9:30 it missed a recurring weekly meeting called by another person to which I am an invitee (and accepted), which shows as BUSY in calendar, and Xobni reports this as free time.
On Thu 4pm to 6pm it missed a non recurring meeting called by another person to which I am an invitee (and accepted), shows as BUSY in calendar, and Xobni reports this as free time.
(Note that on Friday 9 to 10:30 it SEES a weekly meeting called by another person to which I am an invitee (and accepted), shows as BUSY in calendar, and Xobni reports it as busy, so this works for some meetings)
On Friday it reports the period from 1pm to 2pm as busy, even though it is free in the calendar.
On Friday it reports the period 2pm to 5pm free, missing a recurring weekly meeting from 2 to 3 called by another person to which I am an invitee (and accepted), shows as BUSY in calendar
On Monday it reports time 1:30 to 2:30 as busy even though it is free.
On Monday it shows 2:30 to 5 as free, missing a recurring weekly meeting from 2:30 to 3:30 called by another person to which I am an invitee (and accepted), shows as BUSY in calendar
On Tuesday it correctly reports that I have no availablity (there are 6 non recurring, not meeting "appointment" items back to back in my calendar)
On Wednesday it misses a meeting (sent by another with me as an attendee) that starts at 8am through 11am and reports it as free time.
Hope this helps

That's very helpful - thank you! I'll bring this back to engineering.

Inappropriate?Same issue. It seems to miss appointments that occur outside of the stated time frame that Xobni allows one to set to check for availability or recurring appointments. I verified that the calendar is checked for indexing.
I attached an image showing the message generated and the image of the calendar showing the scheduled times including some recurring. -
Inappropriate?I'm having the same issue. It's taking about 20 seconds to generate the list (which I can live with) but here's what Xobni offered:
Auto-generated Xobni Schedule:
Tue June 15, now (14:45) to 17:00
Wed June 16, 09:00 to 10:00, 11:00 to 13:00, 13:15 to 14:00, 15:00 to 17:00
Thu June 17, 09:00 to 17:00
Fri June 18, 09:00 to 10:30, 10:45 to 11:00, 13:00 to 17:00
Mon June 21, 09:15 to 12:00, 13:00 to 17:00
This is what it missed. These are my meetings that Xobni has ignored/missed:
Tue - 14:45-16:00
Wed - 09:30-10:00
Thu - 09:00-09:15; 09:30-10:00; 13:00-14:00; 15:30-16:00
Fri - 09:30-10:30; 10:30-10:45; 11:00-12:00
I'm using Exchange as my main calendar and also have a PST file open.
Gareth
