Emails received chart @ top of pane

Re the time based chart of when emails are received at the top of the pane - personally I like this view - but does take up real estate with minimal functionality (in my opinion) for me and the novelty will wear off. A method of minimising to just show the emails out / in bars would be welcome.

I think it would also be helpful to be able to double click and bring up a more detailed summary of the emails received (actual email count, etc., that is used to generate the graph)
