I hardly ever use the mouse while in Outlook. I'd like to be able to get to the Xobni Search box with a control shortcut key if possible. Next best would be a function key. Doable?

Thank you for a great product.

With each new beta, I'm always wondering if some keyboard capabilities might have crept in but haven't found any. Will it be prominently announced when we have some keyboard shortcuts?

Yep, we'll announce the keyboard shortcuts in the forum. This is still high on our list, look for it soon.

Don't want to "Me Too", but definitely something I'd love to have as well
Specifically: A shortcut to the Search, a way to select the search result, and ways to navigate between the different result panes (select, forward, and backward)

+1 for keyboard shortcuts.

I got the little how's it going feedback this morning and I said 'so far so good'. Now that i click on the xobni search as a reflex I'm expecting a second reflex to start hitting shortcuts and I realised I was missing them.

Another "me-too" for keyboard shortcuts, and also for keyboard accelerators on the Xobni menu (there's one on the top-level option, Xobni, but none on any of the options).

Tops on my list for keyboard shortcuts: a keyboard way to expand and collapse the Xobni sidebar (even if it's ALT + X, then an accelerator to pick something off the menu), and as others have mentioned, a shortcut to the search box.

More than that even. Definitely a shortcut to expand/collapse the sidebar, preferably placing the cursor in the search bar when expanded. Also, hotkeys to move among my search results (j/k?), and to open/reply/forward the mail I land on.

Thanks!

Ooh, and one to clear my searches and return "Home".

Hi everyone- you asked and we responded! Xobni now has keyboard shortcuts. Look at these release notes for more information:

Thanks!

Hi, just installed Xobni and love it. I came here because I like to use hotkeys. I've read the release notes for 1.4, and they appear to say that the hotkey for search is CTL + [~]. What on Earth is that supposed to mean? Is it literally Control, Shift and # (where tilde lives on my kb) all at once? If so, it doesn't work.

I've never seen tilde used in a hotkey combination before, and I'm very confused!
