I just installed xobni today and I'm overall pretty pleased with it.
However, I did not like the fact that during installation I was prompted to send emails to people from my contact list promoting xonbi. I nearly quit the install because I was worried these emails may be sent without me pressing the button.
#1. Why would I want to reccomend software to people as I am installing it? I don't even know if it works yet.
#2. I was offered to send these notes to my top 10 contacts. These tend to be important people like my boss and clients. It would have been quite embarassing if these notes somehow got sent.
#3. It's not neccesarry. If your software works and is useful, people will let each other know. Giving you access to my Outlook account was a giant leap of faith. I need to be able to trust this software completely. I am not comfortable with even a slight possibility of my contacts being spammed.
