I've just sent an email to someone. It shows in the "Conversations" list. When I click the email to expand it, the From address reads as "What Car? News". I think it should show my email address instead, no?

That is indeed pretty odd.
Was the "What Car? News" part actually part of the mail such as the title or somewhere in the body of the message?
Also, was this a fresh, new mail to someone or a reply to an existing mail?
Sorry to answer your question with more questions but it may help the support guys recreate it quicker. I'm going to look through my own recent conversations and see if I see anything like that.

Hello,
Xobni tries to determine all of your identities by looking at the email addresses and associated names that go with them. My guess is you subscribed to some newsletter called "What Car? News" that is faking its address as your own.
We can verify this by checking another message you sent - is your name the one that appears at the top when you see the profile that says "This is You"?
If you don't mind, can you let us know the email address associated with What Car? News? This may require searching in Outlook directly.
Thanks - I hope this helps!

Here are some more details:
1) Yes I see the "This is you" note so it is trying to identify me (Although for Sent Items, shouldn't it work from who I sent the mail To instead of From (which is me)?)
2) When I search Outlook for "What Car" I find a bunch of posts from 2005. I must have subscribed to a news feed back then. Note that they are Posts, not email items, so I don't see my email address anywhere.
Anything else to check?
Thanks,
Krip
