I'm not sure if this is a bug, omission or just how it's supposed to work, but when you click the Calendar, Contact or Task buttons/tabs/screens at the bottom left of Outlook 2007 the Xobni panel remains on screen on the right. It's appropriate when the Mail button/tab/screen is shown but I'm not sure about the other screens?

Perhaps is could show the "Profile View" for the selected item when on the Contact screen? Regardless, it would be nice to have an option to hide the Xobni panel when showing any screen other than the Mail one.

It would also be nice to have an option to show the Xobni panel at the bottom of the screen (especially when hidden).

Great plugin btw!

James, I feel the same. I also wish there was a way to hide the sidebar in the views Contact/Calendar/Task.

Add my vote to automatically hiding the sidebar when not in email view.

I actually like that it stays there. When someone emails me and says "Hey are you free XXXXXX?" and I switch to Calendar mode I like that it will shift into showing that last email I was looking at. Same with getting a task from my boss "Hey can you do XXXX by YYYY?" and I go over to Tasks, I'd like that email to pop up in the xobni bar so I can refer to it.

Most of the time I have no need of Xobni in the Contact/Calendar/Task views. I would like to at least have the option to minimize it in these views.

I think it would be cool if the Xobni will reflect what you select in the current view.
For example, in Contacts - selecting a specific contact(s), the Xobni will show related items.
In Calendar - selecting a specific date(s), the Xobni will show all mails/tasks/statistics from that date.
Selecting a meeting - the Xobni will show related contacts/mails etc.
