Some detail on the To-Do Items list would be nice. (I requested this to a tech, but I thought I would get it out there.)

A few nice details would be:

Due Date
Status
Flag color
Text color Red for overdue tasksAnother idea would be to be able to chose what is shown and in what order. Or maybe a view that shows details under the subject of the task, or on mouse over.

My mods to the GTD framework are to task an email if I cannot deal with it in about 2 minutes.

The issues is that I am now duping up tasks, and also find that I have no ability to sort the tasks in the to-do items.

if I had sort there I can knock off the important items vs slogging though the items that are waiting on someone else or are delegated out.

Yea, so to-do needs a revamp I think. Not enough detail.

Also, maybe build some logic in that would detect if two flags are in the same conversation! Then only display one, and on mouse over give more detail! (Also the flag colors would be nice.)

With Xobni tasks I seem to be missing the point. Isn't this just a list of active task which less information than Outlook already gives us????

Don't get me wrong; I like what I see from Xobni, but given I live in Outlook for most of the day I'd like it to add additional functionality and streamline my processes. e.g create tasks from emails.

Given the analytics it has why not go a step further and have a "hot section" of the Xonbi pane which suggests an action e.g. create a contact from this email (when its not in my existing contacts) or (for this thread) create a task from this email. Xobni would then suggest the task perhaps even suggesting a due date based on info contained in the email.

I know I can drag a drop emails to the tasks menu to easily create a task already in Outlook - where Xobni can really add value in this process is in reworking that new task with data from the email. The created task can also be associated with the email in Xobni which in turn gets connected to the contact information and relationships which we already know and love.
