I was a little surprised to see that Xobni doesn't seem to index my PST files. Is there a way to make it do that, or is this a new feature request?
Hi Jordan-
Xobni should be indexing your PSTs, from the FAQ-
"Xobni does support Outlook PST files, along with Exchange and IMAP servers. If Xobni seems to be missing data from a PST or other email store, click on the Xobni menu (next to Help at the top) and go to 'Synchronize'. Note that this process can take a while if you have lots of email. You might want to start it before going home or going to sleep."
I've moved this thread over to tech support and one of our rock stars should be following up.

@ Jordan:
Depending on the amount of mail you have, we may not fully index all your PST's right away. We try to index as much as we can within a 10min time frame, so you can get started with Xobni quickly. The more mail you have, the longer it takes us to index it.
To that end, we have the 'Synchronize' command located in the Xobni menu in Outlook. That should fully index all attached PST's, however it can take some time. My recommendation is that you try running this overnight, or at a time when you won't be using Outlook for a while.
If you're finding that not all your mail is indexed after that, then there may be a bigger issue, but I doubt it will be a problem.
and ps, keep in mind that we do not index the 'Deleted' or 'Junk' folders, so you won't see any mails stored in those places!

Personal opinion, I think that's an oversight. Indexing Deleted Items is a huge benefit. I know I find I delete plenty that over time I might need a quick reference. Especially when you think an issue is closed and a day later someone brings it back up again.
I vote for indexing Deleted Items :)

I agree with Xobni - Don't include deleted files - they're deleted for a reason. If anything, maybe make it an option.
