Shortcuts/Links as Attachments

Does xobni not see "shortcuts" as attachments to emails? I use third-party software to remove all attachments and replace them with shortcuts to the files to keep my PST file a reasonable size (it's still one gigabyte with no attachments stored), but I believe none of these shortcuts show up as "files exchanged with this user."

It's tough to know. We haven't tested any 3rd party software like the one you mention (what's it called, btw?), so I can't say for sure what our behavior will be in that situation.

Not sure if original poster uses EZDetach but it sounds like the same Outlook tool that I use. See http://www.techhit.com/

Yes, it is EZDetach. I don't think EZDetach has anything to do with it, though, inasmuch as when EZDetach is done it's just a plain old ".lnk" windows file that is the attachment. The question is really whether xobni recognizes .lnk files.
