Hello,
I'm not sure if a lot of people use Skype to make calls, but I'm certain that there are quite a few who use Asterisk to make calls ;-)
Asterisk is an open source PBX that supports SIP. I've currently enabled FireFox to hyperlink phone numbers on a website that when clicked, my desk station rings, I answer, and then Asterisk dials out to the number I clicked on. I love that functionality.
Although Xobni supports the same, except via Skype, I'd love to see it having an option of using Asterisk to make dial contacts.
This is the open source Asterisk Outlook dialer I use that has a toolbar in Outlook and let's me call contacts. Maybe you can improvise on it and somehow make it so it hyperlinks phone numbers in Outlook?
I use Outlook 2007.
Thanks for this AWESOME product!
