how do i close tabs?

i bet there is a simple solution to this, but when i navigate through people, i can't figure out how to close the tabs above it, so i sometimes end up with a list of tabs for my previous action that i no longer need. what am i missing here?

I don't think one does - you just do the action you require and then move to the appropriate place in the hierarchy of "commands" you've opened. This might be the very top e.g. the Organize or Email tabs

The easiest way to clear the search results or drill-down screens that you've got is simply to hit the 'Home' bar at the very top, or in some cases, the 'Back' bar that's right below that.

Remember that at the root of it all, you still have an email profile loaded in the Sidebar because you're parked on an email from that user. So the concept is to do your searching, finish the task you need to do, then return to the main profile view.

The architecture is not set up to allow you to 'clear' screens without returning to the 'Home' profile.
