can't find it ... have no XOBNI menu item in my Outlook toolbar.
Have been able to install it , but it dissapeared.

when I go via the Tools > advanced > com add-ins > what DLL do I need to load in to load XOBNI ?

I do get an 'undefined' error when running the installer tho, but it says it has installed successfully ... I didn't have that error when I first installed...

I also tried renaming "extend.dat" and uninstalling / installing it again , but to no avail..

Any help cause my life is meaningless without my Xobni ! :)

On the 'Xobni Tab' (inside Outlook), do you have a 'check mark' in the checkbox in front of the option for 'View Insight Sidebar'?

I'm in the same boat...opened up my outlook today and there is no Xobni there, no dropdown box and xobni does not appear as an option under Tools/Options/AdvancedOptions/COM Add-ins

Hi folks!

Right now we're tracking this issue, and working on a fix. In the meantime, you should just uninstall, and then reinstall...that should get you back to normal quickly. Not the most elegant solution, I know, but it should take care of the problem until we have it fixed.

If you try reinstalling, and the problem remains, I'd advise you to contact Support so we can take a deeper look.

Thanks!

Hi There,

followed the advice to uninstall and reinstall. However, it is still missing. I am running XP with Outlook 2007. Can you ofer advice?

Thanks

@ baasshapshap:

There are a number of things that could be going wrong. If you're running Outlook with multiple windows open, can you close all the windows except for the main Mail view, and then quit Outlook? When you restart, you should have Xobni again. This is a fairly common problem.

If the problem continues beyond that, we'd need to see your log files. If you could download and run Inspector X (http://download.xobni.com/inspectorx/InspectorX.exe), and post the results to this thread, that would be helpful.

Thanks!
