Sticky position in the search result

After searching, and getting a list of emails back, sometimes I can't find exactly the one I'm looking for, even with the popup. So, need to click on an email, which takes to the next panel and email detail. But, if the first one isn't the one I'm looking for, and I go back a panel to the search result, there is no way to tell which one I just clicked on. It would be nice if it were highlighted, or something, so I didn't have to start at the top and work my way down again.
