Problems with Synergy and Xobni

Hi Guys,

Odd one today that I've had in the past with installers and the like, when running Xobni, Synergy (the Virtual KVM) stops working, if I minimize Outlook, it starts working again, anyone come across this before?

It's only when I'm running Xobni btw.

That's interesting behavior -- mostly because we have people using Synergy interally! I'll check this issue out though, thanks.

Thanks Ryan, as it's happened a few times (client is a Vista machine, server is XP) I'm trying out MaxVista to see if that's better and it doesn't happen with that so must be something to do with Synergy.

Would be interested to know if you find a fix -it'll save me $40 at least ;)

I am also experiencing this issue with a Vista laptop serving as the Synergy client to an Ubuntu server.

The issue I believe is with Vista's permissions handling. Xobni runs in an escalated privilege mode, for which Vista allows input only from the native keyboard and mouse.
