Hi,

today is my 2nd day of using xobni. And the first day after running a full sync. After the full syc, xobni has made outlook unusable by:

* putting the PC into 100% cpu usage for very small things (eg opening mail, deleting mail, opening a contact, creating new mail etc)

* during these time periods (i measured one that was 10 minutes long) outlook is unusable and unresponsive to clicks, menu slections etc.

I do like the xobni concept. However, it really can't be used with these issues.

Is there a way to defer whatever xobni to a later time, or not do it. Given that it is running from inside outlook, the reason for the CPU hogs isn't easy to nail down.

I've got the following plugins installed on Outlook 2007:
X1 desktop search
Clearcontext
linkedin
Newsgator
Xobni

Do you have all those plugins activated at the same time? I had performance issues when I ran Newsgator at the same time I ran Linkedin/yousendit and xobni. I switched to the standalone newsgator (now free) and it fixed all my problems.

Are you using Microsoft's Windows Search. I had that problem, and when I removed it all sorts of wonderful things occured. One of them being, full utilization of my CPU bandwidth.
